We are Monte and Michelle....two good friends from Alabama who love life and the outdoors.The purpose of our site is to share our love of the outdoors with you.

Our Story

We met in church in 2001. We found out that we shared similar interests including nature, outdoor activities and photography. Soon we began travelling around photographing nature and landscapes. As we moved out from our local area to photograph new places, we noticed that each one had different types of rocks. We started collecting them. Soon we went on our first official club dig to Georgia to dig Amethyst. WOW! We were immediately hooked and have been digging ever since. We decided that it would be fun to share our photography and adventures with friends and family. That is how Rocks and Lace was founded. No matter where we go or what we do, we always manage to have loads of fun!! Enjoy our site!
