I just stumbled across your website in my quest for knowledge. I'm new to digging up stuff. I live in Knoxville TN where I own a pet store called Feathers Tails & Scales. Anyhoo, I'm currently in Salt Lake City Utah working ( I'm also an environmental engineer ). I went to the Dugway Geode Beds yesterday and dug up a bunch of geodes... I'm gonna take one more trip to dugway later this week. We'll see what I dig up...lol...I'll post more as I obtain information...

Hi Kilo, You have a cool name and it sounds like you have a cool life also... rocks and reptiles, that's a great combination! I feel like my house is a pet store(I like all kinds of animals too). Please let us know how your Dugway trip goes. You may want to check some of your geodes under UV black light. Some geodes will fluoresce(glow)different colors. It sounds like a fun place to dig.
