We checked in, said our “good mornings”, and headed out back to the smoky pit while everyone else jumped into the skeletal pit. After about an hour, we decided to try something else so we headed to the skeletal pit. Michelle said that if we were going to go up there with the Big Boys, we were going to have to do some heavy duty digging.....but we were game for that!!!

We walked up and knew something exciting was going on by the look on Jim’s face.

And then we saw his treasure pile.... It did not look like much at first, but on closer inspection, we saw what that Cheshire grin was all about!

Jim and Lee (who had taken up residence in the dirt next door to Jim) told us that they had hit a very productive seam and were pulling out some really nice plates.

They invited us to jump right in. So we jumped, but we didn’t know what we were doing......yet...
