Before long, we were on our way. It was very dusty due to the drought conditions. Michelle was flippin' out because her new red truck was now veiled in gray dust!

Before we were allowed into the field, we had to be briefed on the site's protocol and safety regulations. We were told that before we could take our finds home, they would have to be inspected. If we had found anything new or rare, the state would have the right to either photograph and document it, or retain it for study and display at a museum. All items collected from this site are to remain in personal collections and are restricted from being sold on the retail market.
