Digging always makes me happy !!

Here in the upper portion of the photo is what we think is the genus Monograptus. In the lower portion is the genus Orthograptus.

Some of the collecting required cliff hanging skills. This is where wearing good sturdy boots really pays off !

More of the Orthograptus genus. These appeared to be the most abundant.

Notice all the traffic. Where we collected was a high traffic area. The good thing about collecting in situations like this is that it draws curious people and we always make new friends !
