Most of the pieces of pottery we found had etchings, but this piece shows them very clearly.

What a lovely day to take a break on the beach!

Monte found these three interesting pieces of knapped flint. One was a small disc with etchings. What made them unique was that there was no flint or chert on or anywhere near the island.

We sat down on the beach one more time to soak in the beautiful surroundings before heading back to the car. We were very content with the amount of pottery we found. We plan on going back again sometime.

All total, Michelle found 124 pieces of pottery.
