"We keep moving forward,
opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and
curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
--Walt Disney
We received an email from
our new friend Lynn in Mississippi that contained several images of
unidentified rocks. He was wanting to know if we could help him find out
what he and his family were finding on their property. When we opened
the files and realized what they had, we got very excited! We told him
what it was, and we soon received an offer to come see it for ourselves.
Now, you know us...come hail or high water, we're goin' diggin'!!! And
sure enough, we encountered both on our way to Mississippi!!
We finally broke out of the
storms and hit the straight-away. We were laughing and text messaging
and having a blast, and not paying a lick of attention to a very small
but important guage on the dash....
THE GAS GUAGE!!! Monte said
that since she had four kids, and lots of pushing experience, she would
push the car all the way to the gas station... So out she hopped and
started pushing..... Of course, Michelle hopped out ..... WITH HER
CAMERA!!! Well, we made it to the gas station, filled up, and were on
our way...again.
Soon, we arrived at the 139
acre farm where we would be staying. We couldn't wait to go exploring.
We hit the ground running...straight through the cow pasture to the
creek. WHOA! The first thing we saw was a big reminder to be alert and
on our guard.
After our earlier
encounter, Monte got her a sho' 'nuff snake stick!
No big huge poisonous snake
is going to stop us from looking for our treasures!
