On our way to Edisto Beach, we had to cross over the Arthur J. Ravenel, Jr. Bridge. The Bridge is North America's longest cable stay span.

This bridge is the third bridge to span this part of the Cooper River overlooking Charleston Harbor. It hosts 8 lanes of traffic and a 12 foot shared pedestrian and bicycle lane. It opened in 2005 and reaches 1546 feet above the Cooper River.
